My Favorite PCOS Smoothies

Women with PCOS can benefit significantly from incorporating fruit and vegetable smoothies into their diet. These nutrient-dense beverages provide essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that can help balance hormones, improve insulin sensitivity, and reduce inflammation—key factors in managing PCOS symptoms.

Here Are Four of My Favorite Smoothies

Berry Green Smoothie

  • 1 cup spinach
  • ½ cup frozen mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
  • ½ avocado
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Optional: You can add your choice of protein powder.

Blend all the ingredients until smooth!

Pumpkin Spice Smoothie (Holiday Special)

  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 banana (frozen)
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin spice
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseeds
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional: You can add your choice of protein powder.

Blend all the ingredients until smooth!

Avocado Cucumber Smoothie

  • ½ avocado
  • 1 small cucumber (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut water

Optional: You can add your choice of protein powder.

Blend all the ingredients until smooth!

Cherry Pineapple Smoothie

  • ½ cup frozen cherries
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional: You can add your choice of protein powder.

Blend all the ingredients until smooth!
